With sophisticated engine management and computer programming, G6 offers available ABS with standard Full-Function Traction Control System (TCS). StabiliTrak Dynamic Control System comes standard on the GXP model. These advanced systems help provide solid stops, traction, and control in the most challenging conditions.
Security
The PASSlock theft-deterrent system disables the vehicle's fuel system in the case of start-up attempts from incorrectly coded keys.

Occupant Protection
The G6 provides standard dual-stage frontal and side-impact air bags, driver and right-front passenger air bags, and head curtain side-impact air bags††. The G6 coupe also comes standard with 3-point safety belts for all positions, plus pretensioners for the front safety belts to reduce belt slack in a frontal collision severe enough to cause air bag deployment.
