LATCH
The LATCH (Lower Anchors and Top tethers for CHildren) system is designed to make compatible child safety seats(1) easier to install on Uplander. Learn about how LATCH accommodates each Chevy vehicle.

Antilock Brake System (ABS)
A standard antilock brake system (ABS) helps you maintain steering control by reducing wheel lockup when braking hard on most slippery surfaces.

StabiliTrak
The StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System improves vehicle stability, particularly on slick surfaces or during emergency maneuvers. The system is designed to adjust engine torque and/or brake pressure at individual wheels to help you get the vehicle back on track. Standard on all Uplander models.

Driver Information Center (DIC)
The Driver Information Center (DIC) monitors and reports on up to 56 vehicle functions. Standard in all models.

  • With the expanded capabilities of the uplevel DIC in LT, you can personalize your locking/unlocking preferences, headlamp delay upon exit, and more. Other features include displays for the Tire Pressure and GM Oil Life Monitors, fuel range, average speed, average fuel economy and trip odometer. Fuel Range based on EPA estimated 23 MPG highway.

Passenger Sensing System
The system automatically switches the right-front passenger air bag(1) on or off based on the weight of the passenger and the amount of pressure on the seat. Standard in all models.

OnStar
OnStar(2) with a one-year Safe & Sound Plan is standard when you purchase or lease an Uplander. An OnStar Advisor is always ready to help in a variety of situations, whether you've locked your keys in the vehicle,(3) have a flat tire or the air bags have deployed.(1)
  Second-Row Outboard, Seat-Mounted, Side-Impact Air Bags
Side-impact air bags(1) for second-row outboard passengers are available on LT (includes non-removable seats and inboard armrests; outboard armrests are not included; not available when Mobility Prep Package or Sit-N-Lift™ power seat from GM Mobility is ordered).
  Traction Control
Standard all-speed traction control and 17-inch wheels work together to offer impressive ride and control. This system utilizes wheel-speed sensors that automatically detect wheel slippage to help limit wheel spin (and enhance control) on slippery surfaces.
Driver and Right-Front Passenger Seat-Mounted, Side-Impact Air Bags
Driver and right-front passenger seat-mounted, side-impact air bags(1) are designed to help reduce the risk of injury in certain side-impacts collisions. Standard in LT and available in LS models.

1 A NOTE ABOUT CHILD SAFETY: Always use safety belts and the correct child restraint for your child's age and size. Even in vehicles equipped with the Passenger Sensing System, children are safer when properly secured in a rear seat in the appropriate infant, child or booster seat. Never place a rear-facing infant restraint in the front seat of any vehicle equipped with an active air bag. Air bag inflation can cause severe injury or death to anyone too close to the bag when it deploys. Be sure every occupant is properly restrained. See the Owner's Manual and child safety seat instructions for more safety information.
